New Hire — Riley Stormont
Riley was born and raised on Hawaii Island and graduated from Kamehameha Schools Hawaii in 2011. From there, he studied at Linfield College in Oregon and earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance with minors in Economics and Mathematics. Prior to joining Koa in early 2018, he worked as a Senior Equity Research Associate at D.A. Davidson & Co., a national financial services company. As part of a larger Equity Capital Markets team that provided proprietary research on over 300 companies, he supported two Senior Analysts covering the regional community bank sector. Riley will assist Koa Capital Partners in the evaluation of potential investments and in tracking the performance and growth of new and existing portfolio companies.
